Our Commitment to Nitrosamine Safety

Industry-leading controls for unparalleled safety and compliance

At Everts, we take the issue of nitrosamines very seriously. We are the only manufacturer in our segment with our own in-house lab dedicated to testing for Nitrosamines and Nitrosatable Substances under EN71-12 Toy Safety Regulations in Europe.

Safety Measures

Strict Raw Material Selection: We exclusively use low-nitrosamine grade latex, preventing contamination.
Certified Third-Party Testing: Every batch of latex is tested by SGS Germany according to the EN71-12 standard.
Unique In-House Testing: Our advanced AB Sciex 4500 Triple Quad LC/MS equipment allows us to conduct up to 35 tests daily, covering latex deliveries, chemicals, pigments, and finished products.
Finished Product Testing: We rigorously test samples of finished products to ensure continued compliance.
External Cross-Validation: Regular cross-checks with SGS Germany maintain calibration and consistency.
Annual Comprehensive Testing: Independent annual testing of balloon samples (all pigment variations) by SGS Germany.
Rigorous Change Control: Any changes in raw materials or production processes are thoroughly tested before implementation.
